In addition, the council recorded 1,131 complaints concerning water leaking or dripping onto public streets from buildings, including from roofs, guttering systems, and outdoor air-conditioning units.
The report categorises the work of the Community Engagement Unit into eight main areas: waste management; breaches of public decency; illegal activities and business regulation violations; general public complaints; public safety; public health; traffic and parking violations; and natural and environmental issues.
