Immigration to Begin Issuing Passports on Saturdays

Maldives Immigration has announced extending its passport issuance services to include Saturdays.

The service will be available at three Immigration offices within the Greater Malé region, starting today.
According to Maldives Immigration, passports will now be issued from their offices located at Velaanaage in Malé, the Umar Zahir Building in Hulhumalé Phase 1, and Vinares 2 in Hulhumalé Phase 2.
Token numbers for passport issuance on Saturdays can be collected between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.
Maldives Immigration also noted that passport applications can be submitted at any time through the online Imuga portal.
