MACL Joins ‘Roadha Saafu’ Programme to Clean VIA Ahead of Ramadan

Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has participated in the ‘Roadha Saafu’ programme, under which staff members are carrying out cleaning activities at Velana International Airport in preparation for the upcoming month of Ramadan.
The ‘Roadha Saafu’ programme is organised by the Ministry of Cities, Local Government, and Public Works, in collaboration with the Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture, and Heritage.

More than 500 staff members of MACL are involved in the clean-up efforts at the airport.
MACL explained that their decision to join the ‘Roadha Saafu’ programme was aimed at maintaining the airport’s cleanliness, ensuring a pleasant experience for both passengers and staff.
Additionally, MACL regularly conducts clean-up initiatives under its ‘Green Airport’ programme.
