Maldives and India Reaffirm Commitment to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Dr Abdulla Khaleel, met with India’s Special Envoy and Minister of Civil Aviation, Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Sunday to reaffirm the two countries’ commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.

The meeting focused on enhancing connectivity and advancing shared development initiatives. Both ministers reiterated their dedication to the partnership between the Maldives and India, while discussing opportunities to deepen cooperation and implement mutually beneficial projects.
Dr Khaleel was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Fathimath Inaya, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Abdullah Hameed, High Commissioner of the Maldives to India Aishath Azeema, Joint Secretary Ibrahim Zuhuree, and Director Aishath Shahula.
