Maldives International Education and Wellness Expo Begins in Hulhumalé

The Maldives International Education and Wellness Expo has officially begun in Hulhumalé, showcasing over 200 opportunities in higher education, training, and wellness.

The event was inaugurated by the Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, Dr Ali Haidar Ahmed. During the opening ceremony, the Minister underscored the increasing number of Maldivian students pursuing studies abroad and highlighted the importance of maintaining the quality of international educational institutions.
Organised by the Maldives Exhibition and Conference Services (MECS), this is the first international expo of its kind to be held in the Maldives, bringing together over 40 participants from both local and international sectors.
The expo features more than 100 courses across a wide range of disciplines, including Business, Accounting, Information Technology, Hospitality, Medicine, Nursing, Biomedical Science, Game Development, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Aviation, Architecture, Fashion, and Interior Design.
Participating institutions include Maldivian universities and colleges, as well as higher education and wellness providers from Australia, the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, and the Philippines.
The event is taking place at Central Park in Hulhumalé and will remain open to the public from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm daily until 15 June.
