The event was inaugurated on last Thursday by Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, Dr Ali Haidar Ahmed, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Organised by Highrise, the expo has grown steadily since its inception, expanding from just over 30 stalls in its first year to more than 60 this year. Exhibitors include real estate developers, banks, and companies specialising in home construction, furnishing, and sales.
Among the participants, Ooredoo Maldives is presenting its smart home solutions launched earlier this year, including security cameras and smart doorbells. Co-sponsor Maldives Islamic Bank and banking partner BML Islamic are also showcasing their services alongside other leading industry players.
The expo offers visitors exclusive discounts, promotions, and detailed consultations from stall representatives. It provides a platform to explore innovative home designs, modern furnishings, and customised financing solutions, while also fostering stronger connections between businesses and consumers.
Running from 14 to 17 August 2025, the exhibition is open daily from 16:00 to 18:00 and 20:00 to 22:30 at Central Park, Hulhumalé.
This year’s Maldives Living Expo is sponsored by Blue Lagoon by VCL, with co-sponsors including Brain Coral, TATA Housing, Maldives Islamic Bank, and Allied Takaful.
