Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC), in collaboration with the High Commission of Maldives in Bangladesh, participated in the Asian Tourism Fair 2025 (ATF 2025), held from 18 to 20 September in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The fair, recognised as one of Asia’s leading tourism showcases, brought together government organisations, private sector stakeholders, and development agencies from across the region. It served as a platform for business networking, partnership building, and cultural exchange.

Alongside the main exhibition, ATF 2025 featured a series of side events, including green initiative showcases, community-based tourism marts, tourism skills conventions, seminars, workshops, and cultural performances.

Under the official Visit Maldives banner, Maldivian co-exhibitors presented digital brochures, videos, and promotional materials, creating opportunities for direct engagement with international travel trade professionals. This enabled resorts, hotels, and other tourism-related businesses to gain exposure at one of Bangladesh’s most significant travel fairs.

The participation highlighted the Maldives’ diverse tourism offerings and provided industry partners with opportunities to strengthen networks and expand their reach. The event also supported the promotion of the Maldives as a premier travel destination while building stronger ties with government bodies, private stakeholders, and regional partners.

By generating leads and fostering new business partnerships, the Maldives enhanced its visibility in the Bangladeshi market and positioned itself for further growth within the region.
