Maldivian Businesses Invited to Participate in 11th World Halal Summit and Halal Expo 2025

Maldivian businesses have been invited to participate in the 11th World Halal Summit and Halal Expo 2025, scheduled to take place from 26 to 29 November in Istanbul, Turkey.
The announcement was made by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, following an open call from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the organiser of the event. The summit is an annual gathering focused on halal-certified products and services, drawing participation from industry stakeholders across the globe.

According to the ministry, Maldivian companies operating in sectors such as food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, Islamic finance, and tourism may be eligible to take part. Participation is aimed at providing businesses with exposure to international halal markets and encouraging knowledge exchange within the broader halal economy.
