Among these ten campaigns, the story of Tiny Hearts of Maldives has been selected and featured, highlighting the urgent need for action on cardiovascular disease (CVD) in the country. CVD is the leading cause of death in the Maldives, responsible for 37 per cent of all deaths. The recognition places Maldivian children and communities at the centre of global heart health advocacy.

The petition by Tiny Hearts of Maldives is currently ranked second globally. The organisation is calling on the Maldivian public to support the campaign by signing the petition and raising awareness.
Tiny Hearts of Maldives emphasised the importance of public participation in amplifying the nation’s voice and contributing to a global effort to combat heart disease.

The petition can be accessed here.
