Maldivian Introduces Promotional Bangkok Fares for July Holiday Period

Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has introduced a special promotional fare for travel to Bangkok, Thailand, in line with the upcoming July holiday period.

The airline stated that the limited-time fare will be available from 12 July to 2 August, with round-trip ticket prices starting from USD 399. The promotional package also includes a 25-kilogramme baggage allowance for passengers.

Flights under this promotion are scheduled to operate once a week on Sundays, with departures from Malé at 11:00am and return flights from Bangkok at 6:40pm. The airline has opened bookings for these services, allowing travellers to secure tickets in advance.

The initiative forms part of Maldivian’s broader strategy of introducing seasonal international routes during peak travel periods. Earlier this year in January, the airline operated similar services to Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok.

According to the airline, those seasonal flights recorded strong demand, with more than 2,120 passengers travelling on the Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok routes during that period.

Maldivian typically increases both domestic and international flight frequencies during school holidays and peak travel seasons in order to accommodate higher passenger demand.
