Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has launched a promotion offering discounted tickets to three cities in China. The airline, operated by Island Aviation, will provide reduced fares to Chengdu, Shanghai, and Beijing, the three destinations currently served by Maldivian.

The promotion runs from 28 October to 15 November, with return tickets priced at USD 499. Flights have been scheduled to accommodate both families travelling for holidays and passengers travelling for business purposes.

To enhance convenience, flights from Malé to China are timed to arrive in the morning, while return flights are scheduled for morning departures from China, aligning with domestic connections in the Maldives.

The promotion is primarily aimed at Maldivians, who are eligible for a 30-day visa on arrival in China. All flights to these destinations will be operated using Maldivian’s latest widebody A330 aircraft.
