Maldivian Man Dies After Pickup Falls on Him During Maintenance

A 60-year-old Maldivian man has died after a pickup fell on him while he was conducting maintenance underneath the vehicle, the Maldives Police Service has confirmed.

Police said they received a report of the incident yesterday at 11:15 am. The accident occurred near the Hulhumalé cemetery.`

Authorities confirmed that Hulhumalé Hospital verified the man’s death at the scene.

An investigation into the incident is currently ongoing.
