Man Arrested on Drug Charges at SIFCO Hiyaa 

A 23-year-old man residing in a flat within SIFCO Hiyaa, a housing complex designated for armed forces personnel, has been arrested in connection with a drug case.

The Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for the individual on charges of possession and trafficking of alcohol and drugs. The court confirmed that sufficient evidence had been presented to support the allegations.

During the closed hearing, the investigating officer revealed that a substantial quantity of suspected drugs had been seized from the accused’s residence and a second location linked to him. Drug packaging equipment was also found at both sites.

The accused admitted to the items found at his residence but denied any connection to those discovered at the second location.

The court ordered that the suspect be remanded in custody for 15 days pending further investigation.
