Man Remanded After Threatening Medical Personnel 

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in Male’ for threatening medical staff while receiving treatment for injuries sustained in a fight.

The incident occurred early on Sunday morning when Looth Ibrahim, from Gaafu Dhaalu Vaadhoo, was admitted to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Police reported that Looth threatened and intimidated hospital staff during his treatment, and a knife was later discovered in his pocket.

He was arrested on Friday under a court order and has been remanded in custody for 15 days.

Authorities stated that the case remains under investigation.
