The event will serve as a platform for the MDP’s presidential candidate, with President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih scheduled to attend at 20:15 in the Social Centre. Notably, the MDP has highlighted that this event will deviate from the conventional MDP rallies.
MDP claims that they introduced a range of engagement methods, such as town hall meetings, street gatherings, and various other activities across the Maldives. This forthcoming event is poised to be included in the array of innovative activities recently introduced by the MDP within the Maldivian political landscape.
Central to the event’s agenda will be the presentation of the final segment of the MDP’s manifesto for the upcoming five years: the Economic Manifesto.
While select policies have been disclosed by the MDP thus far, including initiatives related to youth, welfare, and overall well-being, the Economic Manifesto is anticipated to provide a comprehensive outline of the party’s economic vision.
