MET Office Issues White Alert From Haa Alifu Atoll to Vaavu Atoll

The Maldives Meteorological Service has issued an Alert White, warning residents and travelers of potentially adverse weather conditions, covering the region extending from Haa Alifu Atoll to Vaavu Atoll.

The alert will be effective from 11:15 hrs to 16:30 hrs today.

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are anticipated during this period, accompanied by gusts of up to 40 mph. 

This alert serves as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of individuals residing or visiting these areas.
