As part of the preparations for the grand opening, it has been advised that the Hulhumale Central Park area will be closed from 4:00 pm onwards. This temporary closure is necessary to ensure everything is in order and ready to welcome visitors for the festivities.
The decision to reschedule the Independence Day Carnival was taken in response to advice from the Health Protection Agency (HPA). The HPA expressed concerns over the prevailing surge in flu cases, prompting organizers to prioritize public health and safety by postponing the event until now.
The carnival promises a diverse range of attractions at Central Park. Among the highlights are carnival game stalls, a thrilling scary cave experience, a delightful food street, and mesmerizing floats. International circus shows featuring talented foreign artists will captivate the audience, while live music and karaoke boxes will provide ample opportunities for entertainment.
