MPL Opens Applications for Apprenticeship Programme

Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) opened applications for its apprenticeship programme last week, held in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information, and Arts.
According to the gazetted announcement, this six-month initiative offers 30 training opportunities across six fields within MPL. These include three positions for marine mechanic apprentices, 10 for heavy vehicle maintenance, six for electrical installation and maintenance, one for administration, four for furniture carpentry, and six for welding techniques.
Participants in the programme will receive a monthly allowance of MVR 5,000. Applications must be submitted before 3:30 p.m. on Monday, 29 September.
