MPL will provide various port services and has plans to construct a bonded warehouse on the island. The company also intends to introduce additional services over time to enhance the port’s capacity.

Kudahuvadhoo is one of the seven islands designated by the President for urban centre development, with the new commercial port expected to contribute to the island’s economic growth.
