MRC Organises “Heyohithun Run 2023” to Support Emergency Response Services

On the occasion of its 14th anniversary, the Maldivian Red Crescent (MRC) is gearing up for its upcoming “Heyohithun Run 2023” fundraiser event, aimed at raising essential funds to bolster its emergency response services.

The event is scheduled to commence on August 19, at 6AM, kicking off at the central park in Hulhumale’.

In an effort to gather support for their humanitarian initiatives, the MRC has put forth this engaging fundraising event. Attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to the cause while partaking in a collective experience of community involvement.

Individuals interested in participating can acquire event bibs, the proceeds of which will directly benefit the emergency response services provided by the organisation. These bibs are available for purchase at the MRC office located in Male’, with sales open on weekdays from 10AM to 2PM. Each bib is priced at MVR 250.

Recognising the diverse range of potential participants, the MRC has also extended the option of online registration. Those unable to attend the registration process physically can register for the event through the organisation’s official website and secure a bib online.

By organising the “Heyohithun run 2023” fundraiser event, the Maldivian Red Crescent aims to fortify its emergency response capabilities and expand its ability to provide critical aid during times of crisis.
