MTCC Launches AA. Bodufolhudhoo Land Reclamation & Shore Protection Project

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has initiated the reclamation efforts for the AA. Bodufolhudhoo Land Reclamation & Shore Protection Project. 

The chartered dredger “Filipo Brunelleschi” has been assigned to carry out the reclamation works, following its successful completion of similar projects in HA. Ihavandhoo, Sh. Mathi Komandoo, and AA. Ukulhas.

The project’s scope encompasses the reclamation of 8 hectares of land, the construction of a 180-meter breakwater, a 1,052-meter revetment, and 110-meter groynes. 

The project is valued at MVR 74.12 million.
