MTCC’s B. Kamadhoo Harbour Development Project Reaches 78% Completion

B. Kamadhoo Harbor Development Project undertaken by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has achieved a project completion rate of 78%.
The project has completed jetty construction work, and it recently received its fourth shipment of rock boulders for further development.
The project includes a series of tasks, such as 30,122 cubic metres of harbour dredging operations, 5,085 cubic metres of channel dredging operations, the construction of a 187-metre breakwater, a 656-metre revetment, a 402-metre quay wall, two concrete ramps, a scour apron, and an 80-metre by a 1.5-metre concrete jetty.
Additionally, it involves the installation of 1,810 square metres of harbour pavement, navigational and harbour lights, and mooring rings. The project is valued at MVR 51.4 million.
The B. Kamadhoo Harbor Development Project is currently underway with 78% project completion. Jetty construction work has been completed, and the fourth shipment of rock boulders has been delievered to the project site.
