Muizzu Visits Google Office In New York
President Dr Mohamed Muizzu paid a visit to Google’s office in New York, where he discussed areas of potential collaboration with the Google team.
Muizzu’s visit follows his participation in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
During the visit, Dr Muizzu was given a tour of the facility and engaged in discussions with the Google team.
The talks focused on potential collaborations, particularly in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into public service delivery, enhancing digital literacy, and exploring data-driven solutions for climate resilience.
During the visit to New York for the UNGA, Muizzu participated in an interactive dialogue last week where hehighlighted the importance of international cooperation and investment in digitalisation and cybersecurity to foster an inclusive, resilient, and equitable digital future for developing states.
Last month, the government submitted a proposal to Paypal to introduce its payment system in Maldives.
