National Career Services Opens Branch in Addu City

A branch of the National Career Services (NCS) has been opened in the southernmost city of Addu.
The branch was inaugurated by the Minister of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development, Dr Ali Haidar.

The NCS aims to connect job seekers with employers, training centres, and skill development opportunities, while supporting youth in adapting to the evolving labour market. Its objectives include providing career guidance to young people, preparing youth for employment, linking the education system with the labour market, and enhancing skills and employability to contribute to the national economy.
The new branch is expected to strengthen employment support services in Addu City and assist residents in accessing training and job opportunities.
