The government has opened a new US dollar ATM in Fuvahmulah City, enhancing access to foreign currency services for residents and businesses.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, Ministers of State, BML Chairman Ahmed Ali Habeeb, BML CEO and Managing Director Mohamed Shareef, and senior officials of the bank.
The new ATM is expected to facilitate easier access to foreign currency for individuals and businesses, supporting the city’s growing economic activity.
This ATM forms part of Bank of Maldives’ broader strategy to strengthen banking infrastructure across the country. The bank currently operates 42 branches, 202 self-service banking centres, and 260 ATMs across 20 provinces.
BML continues to provide nationwide support to individuals, businesses, and communities through enhanced digital and physical banking services.
