Nominations for Vacant HRCM Membership Re-Opened

The President’s Office has re-opened applications for a vacant membership position within the Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM). 

The President’s Office has announced that it will be accepting applications on October 26, 2023, between 09:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

For those interested in applying, the necessary application forms can be obtained via download from the official presidency website at presidency.gov.mv.

The vacancy in question has arisen as a result of the resignation of the Vice-President of the Commission. In response to this, the President’s Office initially opened the application period on the 8th of this month, which subsequently closed on the 16th of the same month.

The Human Rights Commission of the Maldives (HRCM) comprises a total of 5 members. The current members of HRCM include President Mariyam Muna, Commissioner Aminath Shifaath Abdul Razzaq, Commissioner Uza. Samaau Ahmed Najeeb, and Commissioner Moomina Waheed.
