Nominations Open for 2025 Rehendhi Award Recognising Women’s Contributions

The Ministry of Social and Family Development has opened nominations for the 2025 Rehendhi Award, which annually recognises women’s contributions to national service, development, and society building.
The nomination period runs until 4 May 2025, 14:00. Submissions can be made through self-nominations, third-party nominations, or by Women’s Development Committees (WDC) and associations. Applicants must provide the required documents as outlined in the Rehendhi Award nomination form.

The rules and application forms are available on the Ministry’s website, https://gender.gov.mv/, as well as at the Ministry’s office and Family and Children’s Service Centres in the atolls. Applications will be accepted via email at rehendhiawards@msfd.gov.mv and in person at the Ministry of Social and Family Development (Umar Zahir Office Building, Orchidmaa Hingun, Hulhumalé) from 09:00 to 14:00 on working days.
