Ooredoo Extends Karaa Felhun Ramadan Game; Grand Prize Now Open to All Teams

Ooredoo Maldives has announced an extension of its popular Ramadan gaming campaign, Karaa Felhun, now running until next Thursday, following strong participation nationwide.

The telecom operator has also updated the promotion to allow players from all teams a chance to win the Grand Prize Bundle worth MVR 100,000, making the competition more inclusive. The prize package includes a PlayStation 5 (PS5), cash rewards, premium gadgets, and other high-value items, representing one of the largest local digital campaign prize pools to date.

Karaa Felhun, accessible through the OoredooApp, combines interactive gameplay and daily rewards. Features such as Karaa Quest allow users to explore their surroundings, slice karaa (watermelon), and earn points for their teams, adding a competitive and immersive element to the experience.

All participants continue to receive daily gifts, including free data packs, electronics, cash prizes, and air purifiers, ensuring ongoing engagement throughout the campaign.

“The response to Karaa Felhun has been incredible. By extending the campaign and opening the Grand Prize to all teams, we aim to make the experience more inclusive and rewarding. Our goal is to create engaging digital experiences that bring people together during Ramadan,” Hussain Niyaz, Chief Commercial Officer of Ooredoo Maldives, said, commenting on the extension. 

Ooredoo said they encourage all customers to join the extended Karaa Felhun campaign and take advantage of the opportunity to compete for prizes and rewards before 26 March.
