Ooredoo Maldives Introduces New Roaming Data Add-ons
Ooredoo Maldives has introduced new roaming data add-on packs, offering more flexible and affordable options for customers travelling abroad. The new add-ons are available for both prepaid and postpaid customers and can be activated through the Ooredoo App.
Ooredoo said the roaming data packs include day passes, two-week packs and four-week packs, covering a wide range of popular travel destinations. Ooredoo said the launch aims to enhance the travel experience for Maldivians by providing greater control over roaming usage, with transparent pricing and real-time data tracking.

According to the company, customers can now select roaming plans based on their travel duration and data requirements. The packs offer competitive prices and generous data allowances, making it easier to stay connected while overseas.
Postpaid roaming add-ons are available in more than 35 countries and include:
- MVR 375 for 4GB valid for four weeks
- MVR 400 for 2GB valid for four weeks
- MVR 200 for 2GB valid for two weeks
- MVR 750 for 5GB valid for four weeks
- MVR 99 for a 1GB day pass
Prepaid roaming add-ons, available in more than 13 countries, include:
- MVR 250 for 2GB valid for two weeks
- MVR 99 for a 1GB day pass
Ooredoo said the new add-ons are designed for travellers who need reliable internet access for work, communication, navigation and sharing experiences while abroad.
Customers can activate roaming data packs instantly through the Ooredoo App, allowing them to stay connected from the moment they travel.
