Ooredoo Maldives has launched a series of events to mark its 20th anniversary of operations in the country, beginning with friendly football matches held yesterday.
The celebrations commenced with a match between Ooredoo’s management team and representatives from Maziya Sports Club’s management, including the company’s brand ambassador. A second match featured a game between Team Ooredoo and the popular entertainment group Habeys, also Ooredoo brand ambassadors.
The anniversary programme will continue in the coming weeks with special offers, giveaways, and a range of community-focused activities to celebrate two decades of service in the Maldives.

Additionally, the company distributed free ice cream at its headquarters yesterday as well, as part of its anniversary celebrations.
Ooredoo Maldives first began operations in the country on August 1, 2005 and has since become one of the leading telecommunications providers, playing a key role in the development of digital infrastructure and connectivity.
