Ooredoo Maldives has launched Mas Race Digital Game on the Ooredoo App alongside this year’s Mas Race events.

The company said the game will remain live until Wednesday, 11:59 p.m., allowing players to participate anytime and anywhere. Ooredoo said the digital version mirrors the excitement of Mas Race 2025, featuring real teams competing in the tournament. Players can select their favourite team, tap to catch fish, and collect points to climb the leaderboard. Each fish caught earns one point, and points accumulate throughout the competition period.

Prizes include premium fishing gear from Hai Fishing Tackles, the Maldives’ leading tackle provider. The first-place winner will receive a Daiwa Saltiga 2025 reel, while the second- and third-place winners will be awarded PIO Ultimate Sea Spirit/Gangster (H/D) rods.

Ooredoo said the initiative aims to extend the excitement of Mas Race to a wider audience by offering a digital experience that reflects Maldivian culture, traditions, and passion for fishing.

Hai Fishing Tackles continues to supply gear from international brands such as Daiwa, Penn, Abu Garcia, Yo-Zuri, Zenaq, Jigging Master, Okuma, and Pioneer. The company’s house brand, Rankaru, has gained popularity among local anglers, with an upcoming e-catalog set to showcase a full product range for fishing enthusiasts.
