Ooredoo Maldives has partnered with Habeys Boduberu to host a four-week Boduberu class as part of its 20th-anniversary celebrations.

The programme aims to give music enthusiasts a hands-on experience of one of the most recognisable elements of Maldivian cultural heritage, said Ooredoo Maldives.

The classes will run on 16, 23, and 30 August, and 6 September 2025, from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm, at the Ooredoo Maldives Headquarters in Malé. Led by Habeys Boduberu, the sessions will focus on the rhythms, techniques, and traditions that define the art form.

The initiative is open to Maldivians aged 18 and above. Participation is free of charge, with only 20 slots available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration closes at 11:59 pm on 16 August 2025, and selected participants will be contacted via the phone number or email provided during registration.

Ooredoo Maldives said the classes are a celebration of Maldivian heritage and an opportunity to bring communities together through music.
