The company said shareholders may attend the meeting either in person at its headquarters on Bageecha Hingun, K. Hulhumalé, or virtually through the electronic voting platform “FahiVote”. Physical attendance will be limited to 128 shareholders, with 78 seats allocated on the fourth floor of the headquarters and 50 seats available on the tenth floor with a live screen.

Shareholders who opt to attend in person will be notified by 6 pm on Tuesday, 3 March, said the company. Only shareholders who pre-register or appoint a proxy by 9:300 pm on 2 March, will be eligible to attend and vote.

The AGM agenda includes approval of the audited financial statements and directors’ report for the year ended 31 December 2025, appointment of auditors for 2026 and their remuneration, approval of the 2025 dividend, re-election of board members and the election of a director by general shareholders, according to Ooredoo. The meeting will also include remarks from the Chairperson and the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, as well as shareholder discussions.

Voting will be conducted electronically via FahiVote. Shareholders listed in the company’s register as of 2:00 pm on 12 February are eligible to attend and vote. Each shareholder will have one vote per share held.

Ooredoo said that the re-election of directors under Agenda Item 9 will be limited to majority shareholder Wataniya International FZ-LLC, which holds 90.5 per cent of the company’s issued shares and has the right to elect seven directors under the Articles of Association.

Eligible shareholders must complete registration, proxy appointment or revocation through the Maldives Securities Depository’s online system “Infinity” by the stated deadline.

The company has instructed in-person attendees to register at the venue between 8:45 pm and 9:30 pm on the day of the meeting and present valid identification. Online participants must log in to FahiVote between 9:15 pm and 9:30 pm using the credentials provided.
