Ooredoo Maldives Wraps Up MLBB Clash with FIMBA Amid Independence Day Festivities

Ooredoo Maldives concluded the Ooredoo Nation MLBB Community Clash, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament in partnership with Filipino’s in Maldives Basketball Association (FIMBA) held as part of the Philippine Independence Day celebrations in the Maldives. The event brought together over 150 members of the Filipino community, with a mix of cultural activities, exciting giveaways, and high-energy gaming action.
A total of 12 teams comprising over 70 players competed fiercely for the top spot in this community-driven esports tournament. After a series of matches, Thursday Club emerged as the Champions, taking home MVR 7,500 in prize money along with a free 5G AirFibre connection for each player on the team. The Warriors PH secured Second Place, winning MVR 4,500, while Maligno took Third Place with prize money of MVR 3,000.
“This special edition of Ooredoo Nation was more than just a tournament it was a celebration of unity, talent, and cultural pride within the Filipino community in the Maldives. Ooredoo is honored to support and connect diverse communities through the power of technology and esports,” Ooredoo Maldives stated in its statement.
