Over 40 Accidents Reported on Bridge and Highway in One Week

A total of 44 accidents were reported on the bridge and highway between 14 and 20 September, according to police statistics. 

This amounts to an average of more than six accidents per day.

The highest number of collisions involved motorcycle-to-motorcycle crashes, with 15 cases recorded during the week. A further 13 incidents involved cars and motorcycles.

Accidents were reported on all days except 19 September, with the highest number on 16 September, when nine collisions occurred. Police data also show that most accidents happened during daylight hours, with 36 recorded in the day compared with eight at night.

Three people sustained serious injuries, one of whom remains in critical condition, while 43 others suffered various injuries. Police confirmed that 35 vehicles were damaged in the incidents. Four hit-and-run cases were also reported during the same period.
