Over 500 Attend Walk-In Interview for Immigration Officer Positions

Maldives Immigration has revealed that more than 500 individuals attended a walk-in interview held yesterday for 70 immigration officer trainee positions.

The recruitment event took place at Salahuddin School in Hulhumalé Phase II. Applicants were required to submit a completed application form, curriculum vitae, a copy of their national identity card, and educational certificates. The opportunity was open to youth under the age of 30.
The advertised position offers a basic monthly salary of MVR 6,500, along with a service allowance of MVR 1,500. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a special service allowance equivalent to 35 percent of their salary upon completion of basic training.
This marks the second recruitment drive conducted by the Maldives Immigration this year. A previous walk-in interview held on 25 May for 50 officer positions attracted 876 applicants.
