Police Announce Search for Girl Missing for Two Days

The Maldives Police Service has announced that they are searching for a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from her Hulhumalé home for the past two days.

The girl, identified as Shiba Rasheed from Six Sense, Raa Atoll Dhuvaafaru, was reported missing on 28 November. Police said she left her home in Hulhumalé Phase 2 at around 5:55pm that day and has not been seen since, according to her family.

Authorities were alerted shortly after her disappearance and have been searching for her since, but she remains missing.

Police have urged the public to come forward with any information that could assist in locating her, and asked anyone with relevant information to contact the Serious and Organised Crime Department at 9113900.

They also expressed their gratitude to the public for the assistance extended in similar investigations.
