Police Conduct Targeted Gang Operations in Male’ and Hulhumale’, Checking 28 Vehicles

The Maldives Police Service has conducted a series of targeted operations in Male’ City and Hulhumale’, checking 28 vehicles over the past 48 hours.
Police carried out 654 searches in areas identified as gang activity hotspots, and one vehicle was towed during the operations. Officers also conducted 127 interactions with the public and logged over nine hours of foot patrols across various neighbourhoods in both Male’ and Hulhumale’.
Authorities stated that the operations form part of ongoing efforts to maintain road safety and public security, with updates on enforcement activities being shared periodically.
