Police Detain Four Over Alleged Attack in Hulhumalé

The Maldives Police Service on Saturday evening arrested four individuals – three adults and one minor – in connection with an assault reported in Hulhumalé.

According to police, the incident occurred near a shop on Boaganvilla Goalhi at around 19:13hrs. A Bangladeshi national was reportedly attacked and sustained injuries near the eyebrow. The victim was subsequently taken to Hulhumalé Hospital for treatment.

Authorities confirmed that three 18-year-old men and a 17-year-old minor were taken into custody on suspicion of involvement in the incident. The case remains under investigation.
