Police Detain Three Suspects In Maalhos Murder Case
Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of Abdul Rahman Adam in AA. Maalhos last month.
Abdul Rahman died on 13 July while receiving treatment at the Maalhos Health Centre after sustaining severe head and facial injuries while sleeping at his home. An interim autopsy report later confirmed that his death was caused by head injuries.
The Maldives Police Service confirmed on Thursday that three suspects have been taken into custody in relation to the case. Two of the arrests were made in Maalhos, while the third suspect was apprehended in Malé.
Further information regarding the investigation is expected to be released at a later stage.
