Police Seek Woman for Questioning in Fraud Investigation

The police have announced that they are seeking a young woman in connection with an ongoing fraud investigation.

According to authorities, Aishath Maleeha, 22, of Lunboagasdhoshuge, HDh. Makunudhoo, is wanted for questioning over allegations of submitting a falsified bank transfer slip.

The police stated that they have been unable to deliver a summons as Maleeha’s current whereabouts are unknown.

She has been instructed to present herself at the Sergeant Adam Haleem Criminal Investigation Building in Malé at 10:00am on 18 June.

The case is being investigated by the Fraud and Financial Investigation Department.
