Police Seeks Owner of MVR 10,000 Found on Roadside

Police in Male’ are currently seeking the rightful owners of a sum of MVR 10,000 and another sum of MVR 700, both discovered on separate occasions in different areas of the Male’ city.

The larger sum, MVR 10,000, was found on Thursday in front of G. Resroan on Dhonandharaadha Hingun. Identified by incident number 591082, authorities urge the owner of this money to promptly contact them on 9631696. 

Additionally, individuals claiming ownership are advised to visit Galolhu Police Station, bringing along proof of identification for verification purposes.

In a separate incident, MVR 700 was found near M. Hijaaz on Saturday, marked with incident number 591291. Those who believe the money belongs to them are urged to get in touch with the police at 9660183, referencing the aforementioned incident number. 

Similarly, claimants are required to present themselves at Maafannu Police Station with appropriate identification documentation in order to retrieve the funds.

Authorities stress the importance of providing accurate details and proof of ownership to facilitate the return of the money to its rightful recipients.
