With multiple political parties gearing up for spirited campaign events, MPS has underscored the importance of road safety and adherence to guidelines.
Anticipating a substantial turnout at these political gatherings, MPS has encouraged the use of public transportation over individual vehicles during the event to mitigate traffic congestion, particularly along the city’s main thoroughfares. This measure is expected to alleviate parking woes as well.
In preparation for the evening’s campaign activities, the police service has urged the public to cooperate fully with law enforcement on the streets. Temporary adjustments to traffic flow may be implemented to ensure the safety of pedestrians and efficient event management.
Furthermore, MPS has issued a reminder to avoid congregating in crowded areas and to maintain strict adherence to health safety protocols.
Individuals are encouraged to promptly report any incidents or suspicious activities to the police for immediate response.
These campaign activities are expected to persist until 6:00 PM today.
