President Attends Jamiyyathul Falah’s Golden Jubilee Quran Competition

President Dr Mohamed Muizzu attended the award ceremony of Jamiyyathul Falah’s Golden Jubilee Quran competition, held yesterday evening at the Islamic Centre.

At the event, Jamiyyathul Falah presented the President with a commemorative plaque to mark the significance of the occasion. President Dr Muizzu personally handed out the competition’s top honours to the winners.

According to the President’s Office, Jamiyyathul Falah, the organisers of the country’s longest-running Quran competition, holds a respected legacy in Quranic education. The organisation also operates Falah Preschool and Falah Quran Classes.

The Government continues to prioritise Quranic learning and recitation. In July, it doubled the allowance for Huffaz and is now working to establish waqf buildings to ensure sustainable funding for the development of Quranic education.
