Highlighting the Government’s priority to finish ongoing projects, President Muizzu said key works are targeted for completion ahead of Ramadan, including a mosque in Hulhumalé Phase II. To address the shortage of permanent mosques in the area, he added that construction of an additional mosque will begin in December.

“The purpose of building mosques and Islamic centres is to establish Islamic unity in the Maldives and to spread Islamic guidance, light, and culture. My prayer is that Almighty Allah bless us,” President Muizzu said on X.
