President Muizzu’s Vision Fosters Dhivehi Nationalism, Says Minister

Minister of Dhivehi Language, Culture, and Heritage, Adam Naseer Ibrahim said that President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s vision of cultivating nationalism seeks to cultivate a future where the youth, much like the Maldives Space Research Organization (MSRO), will hold the nation’s abundant history in high regard.

Addressing a gathering at a meeting with MSRO today, the minister underscored the importance of collaborative efforts to unearth and preserve Maldives’ astronomical heritage. The meeting, attended by the Minister and the State Minister of the Ministry, sought to explore avenues for cooperation in gathering astronomical data and advancing research initiatives.

Encouraging the youth to take an active role in preserving the nation’s cultural legacy, Minister affirmed the government’s commitment to providing technical and scientific support for such initiatives.

Moreover, Ibrahim highlighted the multifaceted historical heritage spanning over 4,000 years, encompassing not only celestial observations but also terrestrial realms like vegetation and marine ecosystems.
