The President’s Office commenced the Executive Development Program 2025-2027, an initiative led by the Political Appointees Performance Management (PAPM) Unit at the Political Affairs Office (PAO), on Wednesday.
The Civil Service Training Institute (CSTI) and the Foreign Service Institute of Maldives (FOSIM) are jointly delivering the programme. The inaugural session took place at the auditorium of the King Salman Mosque.
Afeef Hussain led the first session of the Executive Development Programme (EDP), focusing on “Leading and Transforming a Nation Through a Service Excellence Culture.”
A large number of participants from all Government ministries and institutions attended the session.
The EDP is a capacity-building initiative aimed at enhancing the performance of senior government executives, including political appointees in various ministries.
The programme concentrates on key areas such as strengthening managerial skills, improving organisational effectiveness, adopting best practices, and fostering inter-agency coordination.
It features interactive lectures, seminars, workshops, and expert-led dialogues to ensure dynamic and practical learning.
