President’s Office Opens Applications for ECM Membership

The President’s Office has opened applications to fill one position on the Elections Commission of Maldives (ECM), as the term of a serving member is set to expire.

Applicants may collect application forms from the President’s Office on working days between 8:30am and 12pm. The deadline for submissions is 21 January.

The forms are also available for download from the President’s Office website.

The ECM oversees the conduct, management, and supervision of all elections and public referendums. It is responsible for ensuring the proper exercise of voting rights and for guaranteeing that elections and referendums are held freely and fairly.
