Prisoners and Officers at Asseyri Prison Build 130 Desks for Himmafushi School

Prisoners and officers at Asseyri Prison in Himmafushi, Kaafu Atoll, have built 130 desks for Himmafushi School.
The initiative was carried out ahead of the new academic year, which began on 25 January. The project was supported with materials provided by the school, according to the Maldives Correctional Services (MCS).
Authorities described the work as a social charity, highlighting that it not only benefits the school but also positively contributes to the rehabilitation of inmates and helps enhance their skills
