Qatar Airways has resumed operations to the Maldives following a temporary suspension caused by disruptions to regional air travel linked to the Middle East conflict.
The airline has reinstated services between Malé and Doha, operating five flights per week under its revised schedule. The earlier suspension had affected several destinations across the network, limiting transit options through Doha, particularly for long-haul passengers.
The return of services is expected to ease capacity constraints and improve connectivity, as transit routes through Doha begin to stabilise. However, flight schedules may continue to face adjustments as the airline monitors operational conditions.
Passengers have been advised to travel only with confirmed bookings, reflecting the possibility of further changes as services are gradually restored.
The resumption also forms part of a broader recovery across the airline’s network, with Qatar Airways indicating that flights to more than 120 destinations are expected to be operational by mid-May 2026.
